I was getting tired of the run of the mill mass produced Hazelnut K-Cups as I have tried a BUNCH! The Hazelnut flavor was either too strong or the coffee just out and out sucked. This one was the first in quite a while that hit it out of the park for me. The Hazelnut flavor is just right, the coffee flavor is a light to medium roast that doesn't taste like it was roasted in a pit of rotting garbage. Can you tell I am a little bitter about some of my previous K Cup experiences? The fact that the pods are compostable are a nice touch but neither here nor there with me as I do not have a garden so I don't get the added benefit of letting my garden smell like used Hazelnut K Cups. In any case, I would recommend this product to anyone wanting a decent tasting, decently priced Hazelnut flavored coffee K Cup.Sir HazelnutI like this pod. Heads up though that it doesn’t work as well with the K supreme machines that have multi-stream tech. (See original review below.) Since Amazon wouldn't allow me to return it, I put it in the kitchen at work hoping that it would get used up. Well, my co-workers really like it. They enjoy that it's a lightly roasted coffee with a subtle hint of flavor. They don't mind that it's impossible to tell which flavor is which. I store the pods jumbled together in the same bin so maybe that helps? I still don't think this is a true flavored coffee, and I hate that the individual pods aren't labeled. I have to admit that (after the pods have been out of the packaging for a while and the burned flavor dissipates) it actually tastes pretty good. Go figure.- - -Old ReviewPros: The paper lid is much easier for my Keurig to pierce than some others.Cons: Neither Sir Hazelnut or Lady Vanilla taste like anything but burnt coffee. Sir Hazlenut tastes slightly more burned than Lady Vanilla. Lady Vanilla has some vanilla odor but no vanilla flavor.The paper lids of the pods themselves are not marked so if you have more than one flavor you have to store them separately. This is a problem at work as we keep all our pods together in a sealed container to keep them fresh and save space.Finally, the sealed bag that comes inside each is plastic and not compost-able. This is a bummer but it would not be a deal-breaker if the coffee was better.Love the Flavor, purchased because compostableI was looking for coffee pods that were compostable. This brand had the flavor I liked and they were entirely recyclable. The flavor was average. I was hoping for a stronger flavor of hazelnut, but it did not deliver. I will use the rest of them, and hope that they will get better with each taste.I love that the flavours of this coffee are infused in the brew. Usually, flavoured coffees smell great but taste burnt. This one carries the flavours through to the last drop!!Best part about these pods is the pods. Coffee flavouring overpowers the coffee. Actually a big brand and not a small company. Altogether disappointing.Good flavor and good coffee. You can smell it even overnight.
